Child & Mother Protection

Supporting Marginalized Single Mothers and Children

Tendos Foundation’s Child & Mother Protection Program is dedicated to uplifting marginalized single mothers and their children. We recognize the unique challenges faced by these families, including financial instability, limited access to healthcare, and social isolation. Our comprehensive approach aims to empower single mothers with the resources, education, and support they need to create a nurturing environment for their children. By fostering resilience and self-sufficiency, we help transform their lives and promote healthier family dynamics.

Providing Free Education to IDPs

Understanding the barriers to education faced by internally displaced persons (IDPs), we offer free educational programs tailored to their needs. Our initiatives focus on ensuring that children in these vulnerable situations have access to quality education, regardless of their circumstances. We provide classes that cover essential subjects, alongside life skills and psychosocial support. By prioritizing education, we help IDP children regain a sense of normalcy and hope for the future, empowering them to strive for academic success.

Supplying Educational Materials

In addition to providing free education, Tendos Foundation ensures that IDP children receive essential educational materials. We distribute textbooks, notebooks, stationery, and other learning resources to equip students for their studies. By removing financial barriers to education, we create an environment where children can thrive academically. Our commitment to providing these materials not only enhances their learning experience but also instills a sense of confidence and belonging in the classroom.

Building Supportive Communities

Our Child & Mother Protection Program emphasizes the importance of building supportive communities for single mothers and their children. We organize workshops and support groups that provide mothers with a platform to share their experiences, access resources, and develop networks of support. By fostering connections among mothers, we create a sense of solidarity and empowerment that enables them to overcome challenges together. This community approach enhances their overall well-being and strengthens family bonds.

Promoting Holistic Child Development

Tendos Foundation is committed to promoting holistic child development through our comprehensive programs. We focus not only on educational support but also on health, nutrition, and emotional well-being. Our initiatives include parenting workshops, health screenings, and nutrition education that empower mothers to provide for their children’s physical and emotional needs. By taking a holistic approach, we ensure that both mothers and children receive the support necessary for a thriving family life.
